Hah! Deviantart's April Fools stunt is to change people's icons. I got a Team Jacob icon. And if I go to my settings, there's a flashing pink TEAM JACOB!! WOOOOOO!!!!!!1111

ETA: Here's the icon: While I am not a Twilight fan, I can certainly appreciate its ... aesthetic qualities.

For NYC people and those visiting this spring...

The Japan Society in NYC has what looks like an interesting exhibit of prints of yokai up through June 13: Graphic Heroes, Magic Monsters: Japanese Prints by Utagawa Kuniyoshi from the Arthur R. Miller Collection. They also have a mangaka-in-residence, who will be creating a manga inspired by the prints in the exhibit who you can observe working on Friday evenings and Sundays.

my new camera is here! Nikon D-5000, with a 18-55mm VR lens, and a 70-300mm VR zoom lens. I got a deeeeal. :D

Of course I have to wait for the BATTERY to CHARGE before I can chase the cats around and terrify them!
