TO wind up a day in which I managed to get not much done, I watched the next Wolf's Rain ep. "Paradise" isn't being translated as anything too weird yet, but it is mentioned as the "Expectation Paradise," which seems like maybe "hoped-for Paradise" might have been a better translation. (Just a guess, though.)

Kiba: The fire set on the territory scorched them in the blank of an eye.

And today's "WTF are you talking about?" award goes to ...

Hige: My teeth are lofty.

This is a special bottle - the Chaos Theory series is a series of one-offs, where every single bottle is different, and combined according to whim. You pays yer money and you takes yer chances.

I have another one coming also, because the last time I placed an order (for Harvest Moon) I'd forgotten that I'd placed an order for Hungry Ghost Moon and Chaos Theory, so I put a CT order with the Harvest. Which I'm all OK with, because I love grab bags and things like that. XD

This arrived just today, along with Hungry Ghost Moon, and although I'm waaay behind on my review-posting, I figured you guys might be as interested as I was to find out what I got.

...before I leave for OMG an actual social encounter*; if Okano Reiko's Onmyoji-ji or Yomi Henjo Yawa have been scanlated? She's one of the mangaka featured in Manga: Masters of the Art by Timothy Lehmann, and the sample pages of both intrigue me. Both set in Heian Japan; Onmyoji-ji is a manga version of novels by Yumemakura Baku about Abe no Seimei, and the other is apparently a comedy about a young nobleman who's assigned a dead-end position investigating ghosts and spirits.

And the art for both? In the samples: OMGWONDERFUL. The second especially - it's reminiscent of Japanese scroll painting.
