And here I figured that Mello would be the subject of my first post-chapter-60 Death Note fanart. Hm.

No spoilers, no worries )

GAH. Triple whammy: mild cold making me cough a lot, some sort of stomach thingy[1], and light hangover thingy from the migraine. GAH. No way they'd believe me at work if I told them the truth. I'll see how I feel tomorrow - I'm certainly going in late, if I managing to make it at all. It's just that I haven't worked a full week in a while due to the con and due to family-visiting this weekend, so I have that horrendous guilt thing about not going to work going on.

GAH.

[1] Unrelated to the ralphing from the migraine, actually.

At A-Kon, I decided to do a drawing of Kougaiji for the hell of it, because I'd never really drawn him before. And then [livejournal.com profile] tesstrosa made big puppy-dog eyeballs at me and asked if she could make it a commission, so I agreed because HOW CAN YOU RESIST PUPPY-DOG EYEBALLS I TELL YOU?! She took Kou away with her at the end of the con, but was kind enough to scan him in so I could share him with you guys.

Kou in all his pencilled glory )

I just have to post a few panels here to explain why I love how CRACK-ADDLED the writer and artist for Death Note are.

This is a little bit of characterization for Near, spread out over chapters 63 and 64. No spoilers because I erased all the dialogue and deleted any panels that might be the least bit spoilery.

CRACK THIS WAY )

THANK YOU for ralphing INSIDE the open suitcase, cat!

Why, exactly, shouldn't I wring your fuzzy little neck?
