And here I figured that Mello would be the subject of my first post-chapter-60 Death Note fanart. Hm.







I wanted to use the new hands reference book to draw a hand. And that hand sort of called for a person. And it exploded from there.

Great hair, like the clear lines and the tones. Though I think Obata draws his hands a bit larger, it seems more delicate here.

Yeah. The model in the picture I was looking at was a woman, so her hands were more delicate than a man's, and that ended up in the pic. But I'm happy that I managed to make it look like a hand and not like a shapeless lump, which is my normal method of drawing hands.
