GAH. Triple whammy: mild cold making me cough a lot, some sort of stomach thingy[1], and light hangover thingy from the migraine. GAH. No way they'd believe me at work if I told them the truth. I'll see how I feel tomorrow - I'm certainly going in late, if I managing to make it at all. It's just that I haven't worked a full week in a while due to the con and due to family-visiting this weekend, so I have that horrendous guilt thing about not going to work going on.

GAH.

[1] Unrelated to the ralphing from the migraine, actually.

Yai! Get better soon, you...

Thanks. I shall try. :)

Ack!

Screw them if they don't believe you. You know how you feel on the inside. Tell them you caught Otakuitis! And tell your guilt to smeg off for a while ^^

Okay, that advice is negotiable, but this one bit you have to follow. Get better soon!

Hee. :) Every couple of years or so I have one of those semesters where I get sick with one thing after another. This appears to be one of them. At my previous job, it fell on the very first semester I worked there, and I got Spoken To by my supervisor, because *his* supervisor thought I was skiving off. So when I got a terrific case of the flu a couple of months later, I showed up to work and stayed until they *made* me go home. XD

Maybe you should just tell them you're puking. That usually inspires people to not want you to give them whatever you have.

I'm going to echo [livejournal.com profile] rachelmanija. Tell them that you're sick! Generally people don't want sick people coming in to work and spreading their germs. :) Feel better!
