Refrigerator update

Because I know you were all wanting to know.

The Friday night trip to Lowe's resulted in us purchasing one (1) side-by-side refrigerator, to be delivered on Monday, despite the electronic price display above the fridge assuring us that it could be delivered Saturday. Which is something we were expecting, given how late in the evening it was. The choice was easy, since we decided to go ahead with the side-by-side doors, and there was only one that had adjustable shelving. And was definitely not the one whose shelves left an inch gap between the shelf and the back of the appliance. That's probably to promote airflow, but I expect what it mostly promotes is stuff falling down and getting wedged in the back.

So sometime between 12 and 4 our new fridge should arrive. Woo.

We went ahead with the side-by-side because our kitchen island is actually pretty close to the fridge, and when the bottom drawer of the other one was pulled out, it ran into the island. We decided to enjoy the novelty of standing in front of the fridge and opening the freezer, instead of having to stand to the side.

Fridge pics!

The new fridge was delivered! And they forgot to bring the water line that they insisted we purchase if we wanted them to install it! So they installed it with the old water line, and after work we dropped by Lowe's and got the one we bought, and myrialux got all handy and installed it. The fridge is cooling down now, the water dispenser works, and tomorrow we should be able to empty the coolers! Wheee!
