arrrgggghhh the percussion section of the marching band is practicing outside the music hall, next to my building.

So I don't think they were the marching band after all. I'd just assumed that because, growing up in college towns, now's the time for the band to start practicing. When I went out to lunch ([personal profile] myrialux was picking me up early so as to be back home by 12 for the fridge delivery), I saw it was a group of percussionists standing near the main street and playing, I assume as a welcome-to-school thing, but who knows, maybe just rehearsing.

They seem to have stopped now. XD
