Boxes and cats

The cats were stealthily fighting each other to gain possession of The Box underneath the desk lamp, so I fished another box out of the recycling and placed it next to the first box.

This has been only a qualified success, as while the cats each get into a box they are convinced, in that feline way, that the other cat has the better box and every so often, switch boxes. Only to realize that the new box fails to live up to the standard they had expected, and, naturally, now the other cat has the better box. Wash, rinse, repeat, ad infinitum.


ETA: Nefer just left her box to go get something to eat. Sora immediately switched boxes.

rachelmanija works with the Virginia Avenue Project, which mentors Los Angeles teens and kids in theatre and the other arts, tutors them in academics, and partners with them to create and perform original plays.

100% of participating children graduate from high school. 90% go on to college. 85% are the first person in their family to go. Correction! From the Project: "The stats on the auction are outdated - new stats: 100% high school, 95% college and 98% first in the family..."

The centerpiece of their program is in danger, and will not take place this year unless they raise $15,000.
