Woke up at 6AM, out of a dream where, for some sort of class, I was preparing a Powerpoint presentation on how to use humor in Powerpoint presentations.

I had some pretty damn good points, too.

(And used this LOLcat as an example!)

Nifty!

If I ever get out to Long Beach, CA, I am totally doing this. (Animal Encounter: Sea Otter - $90 and all the dead fish you can stand!)

AnimeFest?

Anyone here coming to AnimeFest and need room space that isn't a packed crash room? I'm about to make reservations there and it'd be nice to share some of the cost. :)

More steampunk.

Ah, so much promise for wild, far-reaching, dramatic adventure! Until we reach the plot elements. XD

A team of adventurers consisting of a broad man, a ridiculously stupid or lucky protagonist, a man missing his left eye, a lady who is not what she seems, and a Canadian discover old friends who know each other very well and ornate engraving in the ladies' lounge.

OTOH, this character is intriguing...

The protagonist of this story is a nun who has a steam-powered digging machine.

And lack of punctuation strikes again! In a potentially interesting way!

Your story begins with a merchant submariner looking for a ship in turn-of-the-century Europe. The hero is a silent person who also has a fear of commitment. The plot involves elements like a Turkish chiboque which causes strange dreams and panthers.
telophase: (shikamaru - screw you i'm going home)
I was walking through my office/studio area collecting garbage to put outside* when I managed to trip over the edge of my chair mat, somehow getting my foot underneath it or something, and SCRAAAAPE the top of my foot on the HARD PLASTIC CLEATS on the bottom surface that keep it from moving on the carpet. CAN WE SAY OW?

Yes, there is blood. And it stings a lot.

* Garbage service! I love it! I put the garbage outside, and the Garbage Fairy makes it go away!

Well...

...since I discovered with [livejournal.com profile] chomiji's big picture that I can't really work right on complicated pictures unless I'm showing off the steps along the way, here's what I've got so far on the next work...
