Woke up at 6AM, out of a dream where, for some sort of class, I was preparing a Powerpoint presentation on how to use humor in Powerpoint presentations.

I had some pretty damn good points, too.

Powerpoint is scary. Part of why I blog is to escape it. I once went a year where all my written communication was Powerpoint. Then I tried to write a white paper and had to spend two days relearning how to make paragraphs.

I don't give Powerpoint presentations often, and when I do, people usually come up afterwards and tell me how good it was. The majority of what I do is refrain from putting the text of my talk into the slides in bullet points.
