Carrot onna Stick v. 2.0

I haven't gotten started coloring the Gojyo picture yet, but I did make a few small adjustments in areas that were sticking out. See if you can spot what I did. ;)

You moved his pointy collar down, and extended surrounding hair lines necessarily.

Sidenote: Do Gojyo's wrists really have that prominent of creases?

I also adjusted his knuckles on his forefinger a bit, and cleaned up his eyes. :)

Minekura does indeed draw her characters with knobbly, creased wrists -- you can see in this image (http://www.steelypips.org/miscellany/saiyuki/5-27-105.jpg) scanned in by [livejournal.com profile] kate_nepveu for her analysis of volume 5 here (http://www.livejournal.com/users/kate_nepveu/117087.html). Gojyo looks like he's wearing a baggy glove/sleeve combo in that one. XD

Ah, caught the finger (and the collar) but not the eyes. I look forward to seeing him in color.

And actually that's a page from the scanlation, but whatever.

I am hoping to start coloring him tonight.

And the collar is actually his collar *bone*, but I can see where it looks like a collar to everyone, because of the lack of other clues. I think in color it should be more clear that he's not wearing a shirt.

Now I just have to find a clear version of the kanji on his headband...

*Ah - the collarbone's at too high of an angle... needs to be a little bit lower at the outer end because his shoulders are much wider than that...

Thanks! I am almost happy with his hair, which is a change because I'm usually thoroughly unhappy.
