Oct. 25th, 2012 02:18 pmTook a long lunch and dropped by the local polling station for early voting, as I wanted to avoid the long lines on Election Day. So my civic duty is now done and I can legitimately complain at length about my elected officials, since I done my best not to elect them.
Toby and I spent part of last night going through our local elections on vote411.org and working out who we tended to agree with. And boggling at the candidates who didn't get someone to look over their statements and correct their spelling before submitting them. Who knew that so many candidates for local office were concerned about employee moral in their respective departments? That missing 'e' does a lot to change the meaning.
