Otter pup at the Seattle Aquarium gets her first exam as her mom sits by, happily noshing on fish.
I know zoo animals are trained to do things to make it easier and safer for the vets to examine them, but it's so funny the way the otter mom twice puts her pup up on the ledge in the age-old language for "Take my pup! Give me fish!"

Best $5 I've spent in a long time
Jan. 30th, 2012 06:12 pmAfter we booked the honeymoon cruise, a friend clued me in to cruisefish.com, a site where you can pay $5 (the search itself is only $ .99, but you can only buy credits in $5 increments) and set up an alert for the cruise and type of cabin you booked. It keeps track of price changes, and if the price drops lower than you paid, you can leap onto the website of whatever cruise you booked (or contact your travel agent and get them to do it for you) and get a refund.
Since I set up the alert, three price drops have taken $240 off our total fare, and I've seen it in time to fill out the form and send it in. As we've already paid in full, we can either get cabin upgrades or credit to spend on stuff on the ship. Best $5 I've spent in a long time!
