Hee!
Otter pup at the Seattle Aquarium gets her first exam as her mom sits by, happily noshing on fish.
I know zoo animals are trained to do things to make it easier and safer for the vets to examine them, but it's so funny the way the otter mom twice puts her pup up on the ledge in the age-old language for "Take my pup! Give me fish!"

To give Mom credit, every time baby gets too squeaky, she rushes over and checks the baby out. But she's clearly mostly convinced that keepers are godlike providers of fish who can do no wrong. I'm actually pretty facinated by how the keepers are making sure that the baby is where Mom can touch it with her nose most of the time.
