Tokyo in Tulsa

After a lot of thinking it over, I decided to forego Anime Expo this year (mostly the hassle involved in travel and shipping), and instead get a table at Tokyo in Tulsa the next weekend - smaller con, but it's local-ish and I don't have to ship stuff there and most importantly I DON'T HAVE TO GET ON AN AIRPLANE. :) So I just got the table. It seems I can convince myself to get on a plane if it's been long enough since the previous time, where "long enough" depends heavily on my previous experience. So one year between flying on an airplane with a cancelled flight and an hour and a half thunderstorm-induced sitting on the tarmac is just not long enough for an anime convention. I could probably have convinced myself if I were going overseas. XD

Ah well! Next year, perhaps!
