Tokyo in Tulsa

After a lot of thinking it over, I decided to forego Anime Expo this year (mostly the hassle involved in travel and shipping), and instead get a table at Tokyo in Tulsa the next weekend - smaller con, but it's local-ish and I don't have to ship stuff there and most importantly I DON'T HAVE TO GET ON AN AIRPLANE. :) So I just got the table. Oh crap! I better sign up for a table. Our funds are currently tied up in taxes and the roof, but we're definitely leaning toward going! I'm glad you got a table. It's more reason to go just to see you again:D

The table price includes 2 badges, so that's good. :) I just sent an email to the director asking if the website was going to be updated anytime soon, as I'd rather like to reserve a room. :)

Yeah, their table/badges package is a really good deal! They say there are some hotels 4-5 minutes out that are much cheaper, too. Bo and I usually go for those sorts and it gets us out of the trouble of con elevators.

It seems I can convince myself to get on a plane if it's been long enough since the previous time, where "long enough" depends heavily on my previous experience. So one year between flying on an airplane with a cancelled flight and an hour and a half thunderstorm-induced sitting on the tarmac is just not long enough for an anime convention. I could probably have convinced myself if I were going overseas. XD

Ah well! Next year, perhaps!
