I hadn't got around to posting this for a couple of months. I gave

myrialux the Sherlock Holmes Tarot for his birthday as he loves Sherlock Holmes, and I thought the idea of a Holmes Tarot hilarious. (As Toby puts it: Holmes may not like it, but Doyle would!)

Here's the getting-to-know-you reading, this time with my actual interpretation of the cards instead of just writing down what's in the book!

I haven't talked about it much recently, but I collect Tarot decks. Mostly for the art, partly to spur creativity when stuck. And I used to read them as a party trick back in the day. (When you're shy and introverted, it helps to have a party trick that makes people come up to you and start talking.)

Anyway, I got three decks recently, and 'interviewed' them using the getting-to-know-you reading that

For your amusement, a small project I coded with

yhlee, the author of the Machineries of Empire series: hexarchate Tarot readings. Card meanings by

yhlee, code and spreads by me. :)

No art right now, just meanings. The 78-card jeng-zai deck corresponds to the traditional Tarot but is specifically a hexarchate Tarot circa Kel Cheris' era. As such, upright sixes are all positive while upright sevens are negative, and the fours are lucky/unlucky.
