We've been getting a few prepped meals per week shipped to us from Freshly.com for a month now, because we have less time than we want for cooking right now (damn that whole second-job thing!*). and so far they're pretty good. Would be a lot better if they didn't love kale, broccoli, and squash so much, but that's all trendy and relatively cheap now so everyone's putting it in everything. We'll probably subscribe for a couple of months and then, when we're tired of cycling through the meals we like, stop.

(And yes, the meals freeze well. You just need to add 1-1.5 min to nuke them from frozen.)

Anyway, the point of this is my referral link, which will get you $20 off each of the first and second weeks if you subscribe. You're not going to be saving vast amounts of money on this service--it's more for people in our situation, who have more money than time, for whatever reason.

*Toby's consulting for his previous job, and I've got that whole Augusta Scarlett thing going on. :)

Got a referral link from a place Toby and I occasionally buy frozen prepared meals from, to throw in the freezer and nuke or reheat in the oven when we really don't want to cook. They're pretty good, miles above TV dinners. If you sign up for them and order, you get $15 off your first order and we get a credit, too. :D (They ship in a styrofoam cooler with dry ice.)

Other than that, still recovering form the holidays. We hosted Christmas because we refused to drive anywhere after the big vacation, so everyone came over here yesterday and we cooked (maple-glazed ham, baked beans, mashers, green bean casserole, beer bread). Today's plan: sit on our asses and eat leftovers.
