welcome to camp telophase

OK, so I'm giving in to my inner librarian and am trying to categorize as many of the elements in the lists in rachelmanija's post and comments here. SOme of them are easy to categorize -

character and character description
setting
plot elements
writing
genre
theme

But then there's things like:

trenchcoats
black helicopters
barbecue
horses

How do those get categorized? I've currently got a catchall called "elements" I'm shoving them into, but it's going to get unwieldy soon.

And what about:

pool sharking
intense stares
breath on the back of a neck
cigarette lighting

I suppose "actions" would work for the last...hrm.
