And one last shot of the cat, who is currently collarless because I finally found it and put it back on her, and within thirty minutes she'd managed to get her jaw stuck in it and then a leg stuck in it:



(I got her out of the dryer easily: throwing cold wet clothing on her did the trick. She would like you all to know that I am a mean and cruel kitty owner.)

Aw. I really can't blame the kitty. Stuff right out of the dryer is so delicious and warm.

And she usually pays no attention whatsoever to warm-from-the-dryer clothing! Or soft surfaces! She likes cold, hard surfaces!

Our cat also does that lightning-fast colonization trick, with Stare of Defiance, daring anyone to disturb an innocent animal which has obviously been right here in this comfortable pile of clean laundry/suitcase/chair you just got up from for hours already.
