*curious* Are character sheets really that appreciated/unusual? I always make some for cons.

Out of eight cons I've done commissions at, this is the only time someone's given me a character sheet for an original character. And I LOVE it.

Someone gave me a photograph of a rock star to draw, and people are getting better at having reference for anime characters, but not for originals.

Dude, weird. I learned that one COULD commission OC art from artists at cons from someone who always made character sheets, so I guess I assumed it was a matter of course. o_o I can't understand why someone wouldn't, unless it was just a matter of not having any art of said OC to begin with.

And they usually have these horribly detailed clothing and appearance requests, too. And get annoyed if you don't get it exactly right.

Bah. I have several OCs with fairly complex appearances, but I've never got annoyed at an artist.

Hell one year I got a beautiful commission from someone, before I had proper character sheets, and I forgot to specify that the bishounen was male... so he had boobs. XD;

No matter, I photoshopped them out cleanly for the web gallery and still treasure the piece. It is lovely.
