This is, no doubt, a trick. The last time we discussed the nature of UFOs, alien abductions, cattle mutilations, astral projection, and the like, I wound up with a bunch of bruises and a sore ass for a week.

Next time, you have to edit your own damn magazine.

I signal lusts by title, not handkerchief,
Since I'm the sex of all that I have read;
Sometimes I write this sex. Kiss me enough,

And well enough, that I may bear the snub
That reading's not a sexual preference.
If you can't fuck me while I read, fuck off,
Or rave how I'm a work of art enough.

The Church of Scientology (tm) has much tahini and smooth jazz to offer a successful eight-legged whaling entrepeneur such as yourself. There is no "cabal", there is no "conspiracy" ... Scientologists are "just folks", who get up in the morning and put on their zany octapus costumes on one leg after another, after another. Eight times.

It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to see that a big-and-tall shop won't carry an octapus suit like that, unless it was a huge octapus, with only two legs, in which case it would be Cthulhu, and he was notorious for hating to wear suits. If you don't join the Church of Scientology, I guarantee you that you will never find an inexpensive tailor. Your soul will roast in the barbecue of Ares, marinated in zesty, tangy sauce, all eight legs withering like so many old tulips, your brain having seized up with terror at the ultimate truth. OCTOHEDRON!

My ectophilic mother has an idiosyncratic idiolect where idiom is synonymous with idiolect. I don't think she's ever had amaebi or thought about buying a Roomba. Sometimes I accidentally squick my friends. I haven't seen much yaoi anime, but I've read some speculative fiction shoujo (shojou?) manga. Name-drop soup: Haibane Renmei, Gunslinger Girl, Please Save My Earth, Yoko Kanno, Vienna Teng, Bel Canto. I wonder if a Mactel laptop would let me get work done while playing disc golf. Too bad TiVo is not portable.

Curiouser and curiouser

[identity profile] rayechu.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 05:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
`'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door -
Only this, and nothing more.'

The bodies of fallen adventurers littered the tomb.

Some were little more than bones; others reeked with the stench of decaying flesh. A rat peered through the eye socket of a crumbling skull; more rats scurried in the darkness.

Tiernay West allowed herself only a moment to dwell on the fate of those who had come before her. She needed to work fast, or all their deaths would be in vain.

For the dim, dusty tomb was perfectly sealed, and she knew the air inside wouldn't last long.

Three rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for mortal men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the land of Mordor where the shadows lie.

One Ring to rule them all,
One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them,
In the land of Mordor where the shadows lie.

gemstone VS hardrock showdown

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_ri/ 2006-02-08 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
Only 20% of all diamonds can be used for jewelery. Think of the comparable prices, though I am concerned of being ripped off when I pawned my heirloom so I can bet for the current title holder at the next national wrestling match. Grading for clarity is a must, though I recommend the Cullinan I of the Corundum group until touchdown. The champion had a hard time polishing the hematite but eventually he wrestled a smackdown sparkle into the carat.

The google keywords are doubly boggling when you roleplay. I've had ads attempt to sell me bull sperm, cross-dressing makeup, and more self-help books than I care to count. Emo, pokemon, and various character names like Sohma, Takatori, and Naruto make more and different crack.
