Is this cosplay?

Every so often when I have a few minutes of downtime, I search stock photo sites for photos I can throw in collections for potential future use. And as with all costumed pictures, I have to ask "Is it cosplay?" because if it's decently accurate cosplay...I can't use it.

I mean... "portrait of armored medieval warrior with sword" my ass.*

OTOH, these guys are evoking the Night Watch costume and character designs from Game of Thrones without straying too far into cosplay territory, so they're usable.

So... Are these two cosplaying anything recognizable?


* If you don't recognize him, that's a decent but not great makeup/wig-wise cosplay of Geralt from the Witcher video games. (that's specifically the video game design; I don't know how/if they differ from the books' descriptions of him.)

It's the glasses that are making me seriously side eye the "historical costumes carnival" description: they seem very, very anime, especially in addition to the male-dressed character being portrayed by someone who looks very femme.

Those two sure LOOK like they're evoking something specific, but I don't actually recognize it. (Disclaimer: I haven't watched or even kept up with any recent anime.)

Likewise, I feel that this is ABSOLUTELY a specific anime/manga cosplay (no one puts that many pearls on a jacket without something specific in mind, also those wigs—!) but I don’t know the fandom.

I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be a version of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask. I can't speak to how accurate a cosplay it is because I'm not a Sailor Moon fan, but by the same token, if I recognize them...

That absolutely screams "anime cosplay" to me, but if so, it's not something I can pin down to anything specific.
