If you miss the square pizza from school, the America's Test Kitchen blog, Feed, has instructions. Only better.

(Cue non-Americans going "Square pizza?")

Also, I found out today that Ciaran Hinds and Dame Diana Rigg are both going to be in Game of Thrones this series. CANNOT WAIT.

I remember square pizza, but with a Domino's just down the road I am too lazy to even attempt to make my own pizzas. :-) I did once make a tasty variant off a base of fried potato/egg patties (instead of the dough thing) that you probably could make square-shaped very easily, though.

I merely looked at the picture and my mouth remembered the sponge-like texture of square school pizza. The ketchupy taste.

We have square pizza. They're usually only the giant "party size" kind, though. (Larger than XL.)

I still shudder at the idea of cafeteria pizza. My downfall was always the french fries. :p

That does not look anything like the school pizza I remember. XD

All this leaving to stand business is the reason I don't do my own pizzas at home. By the time I know I want pizza I'm hungry enough not to have 2 hours to wait around for the dough to rise, but if I prepare the dough first then I can't guarantee I'm going to want pizza any time soon and it'll go to waste. It's a bit annoying because a few years ago my housemates bought me a pizza cooker and it's still sitting in the box waiting to be used.

ATK drives me nuts sometimes. The recipes take complex to a whole new level.
