To this day I'm not 100% certain what distinguishes a cardigan from a regular sweater. If it's related to sweaters at all and I'm not just hopelessly confused. :-P Western clothing, you fox me.

I assume that if it buttons all the way up the front, then it's a cardigan. If it doesn't, it's a pullover. That's about the most distinction I make. :)

I didn't know pullovers were a clothing type. I would have guessed them to be a type of sleeping bag or something.

This is what happens when, growing up, all your conversations about clothing are with your mom and your mom uses Korean terms. ^_^ (With some odd borrowings. I think some form of...something is "wanpisu" from "one-piece." Dresses maybe?)

When I got to the UK for the very first time, one of the school's dinner ladies confused the hell out of me by complimenting my jumper. It wasn't until she asked if I knitted it myself that I realized she was talking about the sweater I was wearing!

(I think what we call a jumper in the US is what the Brits call a pinafore--a sort of sleeveless dress/elaborate apron thing worn over a shirt.)
