...of birds on or near the feeder from a couple of days ago, plus Sora being wigged out by a pair of work gloves.
Feeding away...

Toby had left his work gloves sitting on the hearth next to the back door. Sora was wigged out by this, and approached them veeeery slowly and got veeeery long as he stretched out and tentatively sniffed in their direction, but never approached them too closely. And then Toby made a noise in the other end of the house, and Sora jumped, then left.

Does anyone know what's up with this poor guy's leg? He's been hanging around for a week or so, and it seems to be growing larger.

He seems to have a friend, though.

Since your feeding station is small, it's not so hard to clean (the tubes are a pain)---at least once a week empty it and rinse with a bleach solution. There isn't anything you can do for the affected bird(s).
Check for mosquito water around your house. Any standing water can harbor mosquites, even small amounts, and they spread the virus. If you have a bird bath, empty, clean, and change its water every day to keep them from getting into it.
