Will probably take a break from making wordlists for a few days. I did this one only because I was tired last night and sat on the couch in front of YouTube with my laptop instead of doing anything worthwhile. :)

OK I lied

I ended up compiling a list of contemporary YA books for a generator, because I was bored and procrastinating other things, so I ended up working on a generator.

However, as the lists I'm pulling them from really aren't curated that well, there are some non-contemporary works that snuck in. I have deleted a couple that popped out to me, and I'd ask that if you have a few minutes and want to help, you could go through the list and delete any that you know aren't contemporary YA.

I have the original list on my computer, so please delete right on the Google list--nothing is permanently lost. :)

(Note that one of the lists I pulled from purported to be contemporary rewrites of fairy tales and Jane Austen and stuff like that, so theoretically the ones with Austenlike titles are contemps, but I haven't checked.)
