The Cool Bits Story Generator, and, indeed, all of magatsu.net, is starting to get hits from search engines, and most of them are the typical "story generator" or "good bits generator" type of search. There are two interesting ones, however:

What I really want to know is: what the hell was the person searching for "splat generator" looking for?

Art and AAGH

Was watching the most recent episode of Shear Genius as I was art-ing. On this one they were assigned an era, and had to do a hairstyle of that era. They fell all over the person who was assigned ELizabethan, saying he nailed it , but AAAAAAGHHH NO HE DIDN'T HE WAS TWO HUNDRED YEARS OUT OF PERIOD! My God, he had powder in the hair! He hit Georgian hair, not Elizabethan! 1780, not 1580! AAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

If you're watching the show and I spoiled it for you SO MUCH THE BETTER. Yes, I am THAT ANNOYED. All the judges, that stylist, and the ENTIRE PRODUCTION can just bite Mello's fabulous ass.

Anyway, this is what I was working on as a break from Spindrift - I finished the inks tonight and am going to do the remaining tones and cleanup and lettering this weekend (ms_congeniality, I know I'd talked with you about the lettering, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized I'd have to create a detailed guide as to where it was placed, and that would be so much work that I might as well do it myself. :D)

Anyway, attempting really fine linework, since I do BIG BLOBBY STUFF all the time.
