telophase: (Mello - chocolate or dead!)
If you're bored or trying to procrastinate, and feel like helping me in some preliminary research for the library's web page, then read on. I'm going to be applying this test to actual users of our library later this summer, but I'm thinking that getting some feedback now will help me structure the usability test. Or help me procrastinate.

Right this way... )

[ edit ] Oh, and if anyone knows of any free online software type stuff where I can set up the above card-stacking/item-grouping exercise so that it's not a bunch of cutting-and-pasting for people, let me know. :D
telophase: (Near - what are you wearing?)
I was originally supposed to be going to my mom's house this weekend, to spend time with my grandparents, but my grandmother started having an episode of high blood rpessure, so they're not making it. :( I'm going on down anyway, since I haven't seen my mother in almost six months, but she is under strict instructions to make me draw comics all weekend.

It's not like there's anything to do in College Station in the summer anyway, so it's not like there's going to be too many distractions. She's on a modem, so no high-speed net access for me. Probably a good thing.

I've just messed about with my journal settings, so I can use tags. It's been 2 years with the old style anyway, so high time for a change. I'll probably mess with the colors later because it's a little pink and blue for my taste, although I like desaturated colors.

If any of you know [livejournal.com profile] ursulav's work (and if you don't, you should), then you'll be happy to know that you can read her webcomic Digger, about a wombat, free for a week or two.

In other news, managed to remember to write a check out for an artists' alley table at AnimeFest - they explicitly say that their table layout is based on who gets their stuff in first, and I had a lousy location last year, so I wanted to get a much better one this year. XD And two art show panels, since I did really well last year - any anime or sf/fantasy artists here: AnimeFest is usually a very good show for art and they take mail-in artists, so I highly recommend you consider buying a panel in the art show.
