ursulav's work (and if you don't, you should), then you'll be happy to know that you can read her webcomic Digger, about a wombat, free for a week or two.
In other news, managed to remember to write a check out for an artists' alley table at AnimeFest - they explicitly say that their table layout is based on who gets their stuff in first, and I had a lousy location last year, so I wanted to get a much better one this year. XD And two art show panels, since I did really well last year - any anime or sf/fantasy artists here: AnimeFest is usually a very good show for art and they take mail-in artists, so I highly recommend you consider buying a panel in the art show.
