Dec. 18th, 2004 01:23 amThe cat does not appreciate the cat bed I bought her - she peed in it. I told her she therefore owes me ten dollars, but she's pretending she doesn't speak English. "Que? Que? No habla inglese, senorita!" At least it's washable, it was only ten dollars, and since she doesn't like it, I'm thinking I can use it to keep her off things I don't want her to be on.
In other news, I'm planning on putting together a doujinshi anthology for A-Kon[1]. If you think you can handle visual storytelling, go here to read about the possibility.
tesstrosa, I sent you a note about it on DA.

rachelmanjia, this is the Next Cracktastic Project after RSOM, don't get worried - I'm always thinking at least one project ahead of everything. :)
I also managed to score a raw version of Howl's Moving Castle off of BitTorrent. No English subtitles - the subtitles display as garbage, so I'm assuming it's Chinese or soemthing that uses a different character set. I've watched a few minutes of the beginning and it's very much a Ghibli look. The airships threw me a bit in the beginning - the steampunk elements weren't in Diana Wynne Jones' book, but I fidn them charming. :)
I can't wait for an English translation to be released, and then I can't wait for the official DVD to come out. I have zero reservations about downloading this, because I'd be happy to drop money on every bit of swag I could possibly get. Studio Ghibli ain't gonna be hurting for my dollars.
