Finally human again

Still coughing, and will cough for days to come, as per usual, but at least I'm no longer feeling like I've been run over by a truck. Still don't think it was the flu, just a cold.

Am still tired, though, because my night went more-or-less like this:

SORA: Hey! She's lying down! I can sleep on her face!
ME: OOF GRAH *shove*
SORA: Can I at least put my paws on your face?
ME: NO GRAH *shove*
SORA: How about I tickle your face with my whiskers?
ME: GAAAAAH CAT GERROFF!!
SORA: Fine, spoil my fun. *curls up next to my head*
ME: COUGH COUGH COUGH COUGH COUGH COUGH COUGH COUGH
SORA: I JUST GOT TO SLEEP HOW DARE YOU DISTURB IT WITH YOUR PETTY COUGHING *stalks off*
ME: *zzzzzzzzzzz*

10 minutes later, start the whole script over again.

Sora *did* meow in protest during one of my coughing bouts. Furry little ingrate.

On the sickness bit, one of my coworker's sons got a brief version of flu (so the doctor claims) where he had a fever for a day or so with minor tiredness the day after. That was about it... none of the usual aches and pains. There's no certainty it was flu though, since they'd have to test for it, and by the time the results were back, the patient would have recovered.

Supposedly there are 3 strains of flu this year that are getting people, if you include what I just described. *shrug*

What I'm experiencing is exactly like every cold I ever get, and no fever. I had more exhaustion with the one last semester - its primary symptom was exhaustion.
