Sometimes I wonder if mangaka get ideas by throwing something heavy at a bookshelf and mixing together whatever falls off. "A copy of the Bible, books on Croatia and Mexico, and a little sea turtle keychain...? Eureka! I've got it!" Like the low-tech version of a Plot Generator.

Uh, not that there's anything wrong with that method. XD

Ah, so you'd know where to find the manga lnhammer and I want to read--the story of how Jesus and his disciples used mecha to fight the Roman Empire.

I mean, the standard setup for a manga is already there: Jesus as the noble mecha pilot, Judas as his angsty second in command. It's so obvious that surely someone's done it already.

Or they will. And when they do, we want to read it. :-)
