What may turn into a daily yuletide report: so far, characters still searching for plot. Have potential glimmerings of something, but it doesn't grab me, and has not had enough details accrete to it yet for it to be anything other than the faintest of faint glimmerings.

However, that is 100% further along than I was 24 hours ago.
