Just finished watching the new Doctor Who, and without spoiling anything I can say: sweet! I was a bit worried that the special effects would be too good for proper DW, but they settled into a nice cheesiness, including a badly-composited photograph. I like this Doctor's personality a lot.

And now I can go read other people's impressions ... hm, there's got to be wank about it somewhere.

I remember watching the old one a lot when I was younger... How new is the new series? Do you know the aprox year?
