Cool Bits generator updated

I added some more Cool Bits that people had sent to me to the generator.

The villain of this piece is a boy who cries, while the hero is a cold and deadly courtesan. The plot begins with horses in Venice. The ending includes elements of captivity and a few tears shed by the character who doesn't cry.

This one just fit togther so well. :D

Your story is a romance between a cynical religious practitioner with a secretly soft heart and a darkly Byronic anti-hero. The lovers experience uneasy but fierce family love and hands combing through hair while in a gondola.

I want to read this.

The story is a picaresque novel. Romance blossoms between an underdog and a retired superhero, while difficulties they encounter include a double identity and references to the Classics.

I want to read this one also.

I could see what these were right away:

The story begins with a sort-of family of broken people who are less broken around each other, and ends with a bloody but non-incapacitating injury. It features a cold and logical pragmatist and a moll, but the overall narrative is about mythology or history.

This is obviously a retelling of Oedipus Rex set in 1930s gangland Chicago.

Your story begins with a nice guy who doesn't finish last in an abandoned monastery. The villain is a werebeast who has a school uniform. Plot elements include sacrificing everything to save the world and betraying one's creators.

This one is obviously an anime, with a hapless, nerdy protagonist and a villain who turns out to be one of his schoolmates who's a shapechanger. The ending occurs with the protagonist who ends up convincing his schoolmate through the Powah of Friendship (or the Powah of Lurve, if it's a BL anime) to turn against his creator and sacrifice himself for the greater good.

Your story begins with a love/hate relationship. In the ruined parts of a city there is a werebeast who has a smoking hot leather jacket over jeans. The protagonist experiences things like notes in the margins of books and a wrought iron gate. It finally ends with kneeling in solitary prayer.

This story ends up in a Borderlands anthology (the Terri Windling one, not the horror one), with a werebeast of some ilk who feels a religious calling and is conflicted about his/her reality as a shapechanger and the religious world.

The hero of this story is a girl disguised as a boy who has hair cropped so short it feels like velvet or plush. On the way to the story's conclusion the hero encounters a damaged warrior. This person has a motorcycle with a sidecar. Plot elements include swordplay and stupid pick-up lines.

This one is obviously a Mary Sue/Cloud fanfic set in the Final Fantasy VII world.

The hero of this story is an antihero who has knee-high boots. On the way to the story's conclusion the hero encounters a Barbary pirate. This person has a scar. Plot elements include honest enthusiasm stripped of cynicism and the moon.

I believe this one is named Pirates of the Caribbean.

Your narrative is a supernatural thriller. It begins in other worlds. There is sex against a wall and a carny who meets an androgynous girl. It ends with candy.

This is a gritty, weird thriller about a carnival that straddles the worlds.

ETA: The text starts as a younger man encounters insane weapons that seem impossible to wield while in an abandoned monastery. The overall narrative is about an industrial revolution in a world of magic.

I beleive this one is Fullmetal Alchemist.

Do eet!

*encourages everyone equally, since the world needs more stories about weird carnivals*

This could be a really cool comic.

Also it sort of reminds me of Saiyuki. >>
