Believe it or not, I have actually done actual work today, in between LJ posts. (Working from home, so the connection's slow, and there's down time while waiting for things to open, close, or update. :D)

I love it. So true of any of the major disciplinary conventions. It reminds me of CCCC (Conference on College Composition and Communication).

Yes. :) I remember the museum conferences I went to, which were much of a muchness, although the ratio of hipster to conservative was skewed a bit differently.

Ahh, how I wish I could get work done today....maybe if I had a bb gun...take out the moron who has spent the last 45 minutes blowing leaves from one patch of grass....

LOL, how sad is it that I recognized the Seattle Convention Center so quickly? Ahh, I spent a lot of time on those escalators... (dealer's hall was on the top floor, food was down one, art show down two.... XD)
