That's exactly what I was thinking, wondering why I'd suddenly developed a crush on Madonna.

You too?! I can't get over how damn hot I think she is right now. XD

My best friend has just now been getting into Death Note via the anime. Somebody made the comment to her that Madonna must read the series, and she was very grumpy because she had no idea what they were talking about. She showed me the image in question, and I started cracking up because I totally saw Mello. XD

Hee. I suspect it's Madonna's stylist who reads the series. XD

Somehow, that seems more likely to me, too. XD

I think Madonna doesn't have time to read things. She probably has someone to read them for her.

I wonder if Madonna realises this? I have to doubt it, but it's always cool when famous people do/ say something unexpectedly geeky on purpose. I bet there's some famous singers/ actors out there that secretly read manga/ watch anime...

I think the real question here is: can Mello now go out-of-doors without everyone assuming he's a Madaonna fanboy?

Is it likely that Mello's (and Madonna's) image is based on whatever fashion trends are currently popular among the youngish folks?

Possibly, although I haven't seen that hair and the sleeveless leather vest and the leather pants in combination anywhere else. :) Actually, I haven't seen that hair on anyone but Madonna.
