Posting to LJ while waiting for my tea to brew so the caffeine shot will hopefully perk my sleep-deprived brain up...

According to the Death Note mangaka, today, December 13th, is Mello's birthday! There's a small celebration going on over in bish_a_day, which Mello, naturally, hates.

Also, Wednesdays are Girls Who Kick Ass Wednesday over in bishoujo_aujour, and I posted in celebration of the only manga or anime female character who could ever make me rethink this whole "being straight" thing: Sir Integra Wingates Hellsing.

In case you haven't seen it, in this post and comments on bish_a_day, there exist pictures of Loveless characters as drawn by Kazuya Minekura, and Saiyuki characters as drawn by the Loveless mangaka.

Shira-chan on Deviantart is doing a Slayers doujinshi and has posted a zip file with Chapter 1 in it. (link to the right side of the preview pic.) I shall be doing the variant cover for Chapter 2 of it. :D

They restrict account creation, partly to make sure account holders are over 18. HOWEVER as a paid member I am allowed to request accounts be created. :D If you would like a JF account, email me the username and the email address you'd like to be associated with the account, and I'll request it. :) They're pretty quick about it and you'll usually get it within 24 hours.
