Comics and Thanksgiving

typolad posts a daily scan from a comic book that makes you go "Huh?!" Today's entry is from a classic Wonder Woman. You don't need to say "What were they thinking???" because it's pretty obvious exactly what they were thinking. Also, the link in the comments is not to be missed.

And with that, I shall turn off the intarwebs and go home for Thanksgiving - Mom's got a dialup connection, so while I shall be on, it won't be at anywhere near the frequency I usually am. :)


P.S. In case you weren't already feeling like you hadn't accomplished anything in life so far, teen creates nuclear fusion in basement. Best part is a quote from his mother:

"Originally, he wanted to build a hyperbaric chamber," she said, adding that she promptly said no. But, when he came asking about the nuclear fusion machine, she relented.

Ooh! Is that an Onmyoji icon?! *loves on icon* Just thought I would stop in. I recently made a surprise visit to the Dallas/Ft. Worth airport and thought of you. It was sunny and gorgeous - I was feeling slighlty envious of your weather. *wistful sigh*

Yup! And this is my other one.

This is about the only time of year where you *can* feel envious about the weather - it's either hotter than hell or cold and slushy. But it's currently too warm for late November and driving me crazy - I want to wear my big fuzzy sweater again!
