Anyone else catch the quick shot of Rose Tyler? :)

Wow, I didn't expect the hand to be a motivating factor for Jack - I'd assumed it was a throwaway joke. XD

I thought ep 2 was OK, but felt they were reveling a bit more in the post-watershed sensibility than in advancing the plot - it can't really be a good sign when I'm thinking "OK, can we get the sex over with and get back to the story?"

Nope - where was Rose?

I'm underwhelmed so far, but looking forwards to ep 3 - the teaser suggested that there might be less shagging and more character development. I hope female asian scientist gets some screentime, since at the moment I have no idea of her personality.

The writers haven't yet realised that they can put in as much sex as they like... but ONLY IF JACK IS INVOLVED! :-D

Right near the beginning, after Carys gets infected and right before she goes into the club - the camera goes to the bouncers, and a couple of girls walk in front of them and into the club - the one on the left is in pink, and is Billie Piper in Rose Tyler garb. I re-ran it and paused it a few times to make sure. :D

I think it's more a quick cameo than any sort of plot thing, though. :)

The hand was creepy. I was like, "Is that... the... Doctor's? Iiigh."

And no, I saw a really Rose-shaped blob, but I didn't pause it long enough to check. Give some details?

I re-ran it a few times and paused it enough to be sure that it's Billie Piper in Rose Tyler costume. :) I think it's a half-second cameo rather than anythign plot-related, since she went by too fast for anyone other then obsessives with trigger-happy fingers on the pause button.

If I get bored tonight, I'll import it into VirtualDubMod and see if I can grab a couple of relevant frames. :)
