It is, though I thought it was a kraken at first. Or at least a giant squid. Aheh.

Cool pics.

Are you going to YaoiCon?

Not this year - I went last year because the Internet Librarian conference was during the week before Ycon, so work could pay for the flight. :) I was planning on doing that again this year, but then a group of my friends organized a weeklong cruise in the Caribbean starting the 29th, and I can't take *that* much time of work to attend both, so the cruise won. :)

I've got art in the Yaoicon anthology, though! :)

I saw, and it's great art. I also saw you have a graphic novel out. I'll be picking up a copy.

I'm a published science fiction author and I want to branch out into manga. I'm looking for artists to work with. (Too bad you won't be at YaoiCon, I was hoping to meet you there). Anyway, if you're interested in working with a writer, we can continue this convo by email: anneharris2002@yahoo.com.

Oh, and you can get a look at my first script here (http://annesible.livejournal.com/tag/manga).

That walrus is amazing!
There are some of the runners-up here (http://www.nhm.ac.uk/visit-us/whats-on/temporary-exhibitions/wpy/OnlineGallery/). I especially like the crow against the moon.

Cool, thanks! I've just spent some time going through aprt of them, and the Young Photographers section makes me equally amazed at the pictures they're getting and jealous that I wasn't anywhere near as good at that age (or, heck, now). XD
