An embarassment of riches...
I've got discs 2 and 3 of Rome rented and watched episodes 3 and 4 last night. Plus, when I checked my mail there was a mysterious package with the mysterious inscription "DDD" on the return address. Once I got back into my apartment, gave the cat her treats, and sat down, I opened it to discover ... the DVD set of Eerie, Indiana that I'd forgotten I'd ordered from DeepDiscountDVD.com. XD And reading the episode descriptions on the back reveals that I think there are at least 5 or 6 episodes I haven't seen! Whee!

Since we're still waiting for Season 2 of Rome, Bo and I have been watching I, Claudius from Netflix in its stead. The staging and acting of the series is great, even after 30 years. BBC loves us.
If you reach the end of Rome and want more Romans behaving badly, I heartily recommend it.

I read I, Claudius and Claudius the God back when I was in Wales, umpty-jillion years ago. I remember liking them a great deal, and I never got around to watching the BBC production, but I fully intended to. Maybe now's the time. XD
