Patented Frenchmen

I am very tired, and not paying too much attention to the TV. As a result, I misheard "patent infringement" on an ad as "patented Frenchmen" and spent a dizzy couple of seconds wondering how someone could be a victim of patented Frenchmen.

In other words, I'm still stuck on Oceangram. And because I am not very creative tonight, I am looking up poetry and sending it off into the ether. If you get one (an infinitesimal chance, I know), let me know!

Wow that is addictive. Work will never be the same. Lets see how tired everyone gets of seagulls and waves before the week is out. Thanks!

That's what you think honey...I'm still alive and well and living in luxury with an 18 year old Philipino bride! And I'm coming back sometime to poison YOU, so watch your back!

XD I havne't gottne anything that cool yet. I got a story that was going on- each person adds a bit. The eprson before me was an idot and said the main character pooped his pants and jukmped over a cliff, so I added a bit that said it made a soft, if disgusting, landing for him.

I think the French have a patent on demon-possessed cab drivers. We're talking some other species than human behind those steering wheels--wait, did I imply they USED the steering wheel? My bad.

Other than that, Paris was lovely, thank you. :D

We avoided cabs except for going to and from the main train station. XD Mom and I hired a guide for two days, and he showed us how to use the buses and the Metro. I did close my eyes in the big six-lane interchanges whenw e were in the cab. AAAAGH!

My Crazy Driver was a DHL bus driver on the route from Tanzania to Kenya who was late for a flight at the Nairobi airport, we eventually figured out, who drove as fast as he could with a packed bus and trailer full of luggage, who specialized in passing on blind curves. Ai-yi-yi!

My life flashed before my eyes at the Arc de Triomphe...and from then on we walked just about everywhere. Luckily our hotel was well placed, though the curbs in that part of town are hardly worth the name.

But I can imagine that African (or Mexican, or Indian) bus drivers have it ALL over Parisian cabbies...

I'm sending out quotes from Gatchaman, because that's what's in the DVD player right now.

My cats strongly object to Oceangram's seagulls, so I had to turn the sound off. :(

I just got someone who, after the first person said theyw ere hungry and the rest of the people were suggesting things to eat, said "That question is a waste of time!" Yeeeeeeeah ... like this site is about not wasting time.

My cat is snoozing away: even the foghorn is not fazing her one bit.

You're right - I love it. XD

Mello, OTOH, grudgingly admits that he doesn't completely hate it. XD

Gahaha. XD
