I'm actually recovering from yet another Grade 3 sprain of my ankle, so now it's a beautiful array of colours, from blue to purple to red to yellow to green.
...... That toe would look right at home on my body at the moment. I swear, I've got six bruises on my upper arm alone. And that's a pretty good representative of my entire body at this point in time. If you haven't already, ice will help keep the bruise from getting too bad, if it's applied in time.
Hee. I currently have a strange array of mysterious almost-healed bruises, but I think they all came from AnimeFest, so there's no telling what caused them.
heh, I know exactly what mine're from and I have added even more since the last time. Groundfighting may be fun, but it sure does leave marks on those of us who show bruises easily. *amused*
My year and a half of karate was big, painful knots on my forearms. XD Plus permanent tape on my toes, since we were forced to use the gym rooms that were heavily waxed for aerobics classes, so the floors would GRAB the skin on your toes and not let go. OW
taekwando has my legs going all tight and whatnot, but it's the groundfighting that's got me all sore and bruised. ^___^ Mainly because of who I'm fighting at the time. Those bony types are hard on us curvier ones.
We're also lucky in that our flooring is ours and ours alone, so that we don't have to compromise with others. We have this nice, padded floor that's got good grip so we don't break anything by slipping when kicking (during sparring or otherwise) or when we inevitably fall when trying to do jump kicks. Of course, we do have to worry about our feet catching on the floor as sometimes the floor can grip too much.
No, the thought hadn't crossed my mind. But maybe I'll take pictures as it heals and post them to my LJ so that strangers can come by and flame me for being self-obsessed. XD
You! You're the reason I keep having this inexplicable urge to take pictures of the bruises on my right wrist and left hand! I mean, they're very interesting--large, colorful, strikingly different--but this is not an urge I'd ever had before and I couldn't account for it until now.
(Failed attempts to start an IV. Wiggly veins = bad.)
Surprisingly, yes. It seems to only hurt when I run into something, or ocasionally in the evening when I'm still and not distracted by anything else, it starts to throb a little bit.

(My most spectacular bruise came when I donated blood and it wouldn't stop bleeding. I could gross people out for weeks.)
