Still no crack. WHERE IS MY PROMISED CRACK?! And HOW MANY EPISODES ARE ON THIS ONE DVD?! I can't tell, because it's all in Chinese and I get lost in the menus, so I let the "Start playing from the place last left off?" function on my DVD software take care of finding where I am.

I think the rot crack sets in around disc two, and becomes crazy-making by disc three.

There are 26 episodes... I think... there were four bonus episodes because the supposed last one made no sense as an ending, so they released an OAV that also made no sense. I forget if that brought the total to 26 or 30.

Heh. I'm not willing to jump back to the menu and count episodes, because I'm afraid I'll get lost in them again, so I'm just going to keep watching until there are no more left on the disc. Ah well.

The total should be thirty. There was an interruption during production and they had to air 4 'flashback' episodes comprised entirely of clips they already had then the end of the series was released as an OVA.

I thought there were extra episodes because they got hit with SARS (or was it avian flu), so some middle episodes were light on plot.
