Just lettered the final page of Project Blue Rose. Now to wait for Rachel's final dialogue notes, then to do layout on ship it off to the printer's this week. Wheee!
Thank you! :D I can't wait to hold a copy in my grubby little hands, either, although it might be to set it on fire and dance in the flames because I am so tired of this project. XD
(In a few weeks or months of NOT DOING ANYTHING ON IT I'll feel much better and far more charitable about it, though.)
Wow, congratulations! That's a huge achievement, and, I guarantee, an equally huge source of pride once we all get our grubby mitts on it and can actually tell you how much we like it more than one background at a time. ;) Looking forward to getting a copy of the final product!
My art has improved enough over the course of the book that I'm actually cringing at all the pages before page 30 or so, and at bits and pieces here and there in the rest. But I'm heartened that there is an improvement that I can see, because that means the next thing I do will be even better. Whee!
I always have a really hard time trying to figure out what icon to use when I'm replying to someone who has a serious, or grieving, or unhappy post, because 99% of mine are sillystupid. It's not like you can reply to someone who's just received bad news with Sanzo's wide load or anything.
XDD I have that problem, too. I have my "hehehehe silly" icons, my "OMG TEH STUPID" icons, the "I don't really give a shit" icons... and now my one "heh heh creepy" icon, but none really that I can use for serious matters... ah well XD
I usually end up using whatever my default icon is, assuming that whoever I'm replying to reads my journal enough that they ahve an idea of what my default icon is. XD
There will be ones left over. I wont' know how many until after I order them form the printers and figure out how much over the original print run I'll be getting :D, but there will be extras. :D

Of course, I also tend to press "Post Comment" before I go to select my icon, for whatever reason...no subject

I'm definitely going to have to get a copy once it's printed...

Once I've got the copies and pulled the pre-orders out, I'll know how many I have to sell at A-Kon and online and will be posting the info. :)
