[livejournal.com profile] dracula1897, which is posting Bram Stoker's Dracula chronologically, on the days that the various letters, newspaper articles, etc that make up the book were dated. Which means, since the book was slightly out of order, that we get a slightly different view of events. Just started - Jonathan Harker's just arrived at the castle gates today (He does go on about food).

I like this so far. I have a tendency to read through books really fast because I want to know what happens. This lets me sit and enjoy it in detail. Also the input from the comments is interesting.

I listened to the audiobook on a veeeery long drive once, which does the same thing of forcing you to pay attention to every single word. But it's been long enough that I don't really remember much about it. I'm looking forward to the commentary. :)

It was a long drive - 14 hours. Probably highway hypnosis.
