How to Make a Fake. I love reading about forgeries in the art and antiquities amrket. This guy would buy a mid-level painting, duplicate it, put the certificate of authenticity on the fake and sell it in Asia, then sell the real one in Europe or America.

This reminds me of...damn, what was the famous work of art again? It might have been the Mona Lisa. A guard was hired to steal it, and then the man who hired him painted duplicates which he sold to several different private collectors, a perfectly safe thing to do since none of them would report it. And if he got caught, he'd only be accused of fraud! Meanwhile the real painting was in the guard's attic for several years.
