Of heads and helicopters
4.5 pages of inking yesterday, and I have zero enthusiasm today. Figures. Anyway, in four hours of occasionally poking at the page, I have managed to produce the head of Rivas from a rather difficult angle, and I wanted to admire it in isolation before I screw it up by putting a body on it.

It's not perfect, but for the most part, I'm pretty satisfied.
And then, there's the helicopter:

And now after you finish going "WOW! What an awesome helicopter!" I mention that I took a copyright-free photograph of a helicopter from morguefile.com and traced over it. The blank areas will be filled with a tone, and the light lines around the edges of the helicopter blades will be replaced with tone, which theoretically should make it look like they're blurred.
But it's still a pretty good helicopter.
